Terms
Last updated 21 October 2026.
These terms cover using MergeMax and buying a sponsor slot. MergeMax runs mergemax.dev. If these terms change, the date above changes too. Questions: hello@mergemax.dev.
Using MergeMax
MergeMax shows public GitHub activity, such as merged pull requests, contributions and streaks, and ranks it among tracked accounts. The data comes from GitHub's public API. It can be incomplete or out of date. How we count explains what counts and what doesn't.
We show the numbers as we get them, with no warranty of any kind. As far as the law allows, MergeMax is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or from relying on its numbers.
Anyone can hide their own profile. To ask for a removal in another way, email hello@mergemax.dev.
Don't abuse the site. That means no automated bulk lookups and no attempts to game the boards. We decide who is ranked. We may remove any account from the rankings at any time, for any reason, without notice. A removed account keeps its profile.
The MergeMax email is optional. The privacy page explains what we store for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Sponsor slots
What a sponsor buys. A card on the site's sponsor rails for the number of days paid for. The card shows the sponsor's name, logo, tagline, link and color. The sponsor also gets a report of the card's viewable impressions and clicks. We don't guarantee any number of impressions or clicks, or any result.
Price and payment. The price is the open price on the sponsor page when we quote it. It stays fixed for that run. Payment is one-time, not a subscription. Our payment provider handles the payment.
Approval. We approve the card's content before payment. We may refuse any sponsor.
What we don't accept. Gambling, crypto trading or tokens, adult content, lending or other financial products, get-rich-quick schemes, and anything illegal, deceptive or high-risk.
If a slot doesn't run. If a paid slot can't run, we refund it in full. If a sponsor breaks these terms during a run, we may take the card down. For example, this can happen if the card's link starts to point to something we wouldn't accept.
